On April 21st, Music Sweet Music founder Ted Wagner and Music Therapist James Riley volunteered 8 hours each as Judges for the Music Division of the National Veterans Creative Arts Competition.

Nationwide, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities use the creative arts as one form of rehabilitative treatment to help Veterans recover from and cope with physical and emotional disabilities. Across the country each year, Veterans enrolled at VA health care facilities compete in a local creative arts competition.

Following the judging, all of the first place-winning entries from the national competition in the dance, drama and music divisions will advance for viewing and possible selection for inclusion in the 2018 Festival stage show performance. Those invited to attend the Festival will be notified by mid-June, 2018 via their staff contact person.

Music Sweet Music was honored to have been selected as judges once again for the Music part of this competition.  Nationwide, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities use the creative arts as one form of rehabilitative treatment to help Veterans recover from and cope with physical and emotional disabilities.
