Each year on May 22 we observe National Buy a Musical Instrument Day. The day is all about playing music. If you are a musician, it might be time for a new instrument.

Music…Sweet Music’s Music Therapists are busy with therapies throughout the day today…but some of us are wondering if at lunch time they may sneak and take a peak at a new guitar, keyboard, french horn or other instruments. Our Music Therapists do play multiple instruments each, who knows, they may be thinking about learning to play a fourth or fifth instrument and today would be perfect to begin that journey! Music therapists are trained to make the necessary adaptations to make instrument play accessible for all regardless of physical, cognitive, or musical abilities.
